Context
My co-founder and his father are large-scale entrepreneurs. They used expensive tools that only surface static data — no real insights. I took on every role: analyst, designer and full-stack developer. Angular services communicate via Bearer-token endpoints with Edge Functions handling rate limiting, CORS, caching and authorisation. External APIs like the NBB deliver market data processed internally in ratio calculators for DCF, NAV and multiples.

Creya is a financial SaaS platform for CFOs and large business owners, built from scratch — from domain analysis and architecture to production. Existing tools are expensive and limited to look-up. Creya goes further: active insights, DCF/NAV/multiples valuations, loan simulators and company optimisation in one platform.
The hardest part was the financial logic: I had zero prior knowledge in finance. Every calculation — DCF, NAV, multiples — required me to first understand the domain before I could implement it. That taught me that good software analysis starts with domain knowledge, not code. The iterative approach with my co-founder — constant feedback, adjusting, rebuilding — confirmed that product development is a cycle, not a destination.
